The beret in the twenties was usually worn pulled down as shown here. This followed a similar fashion to the Cloche hats of the time. The slightly earlier Tam O'Shanter is also seen pulled down over the ears but was mostly worn higher as a Scottish bonnet In the following decade 1930's Berets were worn perched on one side in similar fashion to the hats of the time. | ||
