 |  This distinctive triangular brass badge is easy to spot in photographs. It was issued in 1916 to munitions workers and intended for wear on civilian clothes. This woman wears hers as a cap badge but it is more often seen as a brooch. This 1916 badge has a pin back and I have never seen a photograph of a man wearing one. | |
